About the event
The Work Beneath | February 2026 Special Edition Panel
What Role Does Art Play When the World Is on Fire?
Art as witness and connection
In moments of uncertainty, artists are often asked to witness, respond, hold grief, create meaning, and continue creating in the midst of heavy and complex realities.
For this February Special Edition, The Work Beneath shifts into a panel format, bringing together past featured artists for an open, grounded conversation about what it means to keep making, caring, and showing up in challenging times.
This evening centers honesty over performance, presence over polish, and connection over perfection.
