C Yourself Here | Opening Celebration Print Activity

For the City of Fort Collins’ Center for Creativity soft opening, Liz Ortiz was commissioned to create a custom linocut print of the newly launched arts hub. Attendees, including city officials, artists, and community members, were invited to print their own greeting card using the block carved by Liz, creating a hands-on experience that symbolized creativity, accessibility, and civic engagement. The activity took place on July 26, 2024, and was part of the Center’s larger mission to invite the public into a space built for artistic collaboration.
